Tudor in Raymore, MO

Just Adopted!

Here is Tudor with his new family...

Say hello to Tudor, a 5-year-old Ruby Cavalier that has lived like a king. He was given to Cavalier Rescue USA when his owners had to move from their farm to a condo for health reasons, but he was much loved by his people.

This 17 lb. boy is in very good health – he’s neutered, microchipped and current on all his vaccinations and on heartworm preventative. Tudor walks well on a leash and rides in the car without problems.

Tudor was an ‘only child’ but has adjusted to a house full of step-canines with two Cavaliers, a Bichon and a Golden Retriever since entering foster care. He is house broken and sleeps in his crate every night. At his previous owner’s place, he went to bed at 6pm and got up at 6am – but now, he has learned to stay up till 10pm and will occasionally sleep till 7am. Tudor likes people and enjoyed his visit to the groomers and vets. When he came into Rescue, he had a thick matted undercoat, so his hair had to be shortened. He loves to sit in your lap and can be a bit of a moose to get there as fast as possible.

Tudor would be best as an only dog or perhaps with just one other dog, and he does like a routine. His previous parents were retired – so the more time spent with his new family, the better. Tudor has an interesting howl when he feels he isn’t getting enough attention – and will stop when you call his name – but rarely barks. A home without young children is preferred, as he has not been around children for any length of time. Someone who is home a good part of the day would be best, and a fenced yard is ideal.
