Riley is such a sweet, calm 7 year old! He sleeps well in a crate next to one of the foster home's kids, is fully house trained, and is losing weight! (He was 38# to start). He has got such a soft coat and does not shed like a typical Cavalier! He enjoys twice daily walks and is slowly getting in better shape! At first he would pull really hard on the leash, but is getting better with practice.
Riley does appear to be deaf, but actually understands hand commands! He has good manners and does not jump up. When he came to us he had some separation anxiety and barked a really high pitched bark every time a door closed in front of him. Now he only does that half of the time. He still does have a high pitched bark, but does not excessively do it!
He loves to chase rabbits in the back yard, so a fenced in yard is a must! He gets along great with kids of all ages, and dogs. His favorite place is sitting next to you on the couch.
